A NUMBER WITH A LITTLE PURPOSE

For the parts of life
that deserve their own space.

You don’t have to give everyone the same way to reach you.

01 / MAKE SOMETHING

A project.
Not your whole life.

Keep a side project’s conversations together, with a number you can share without handing out your personal one.

02 / MEET SOMEONE

New people.
Your own pace.

From a neighborhood meetup to a new collaborator, make room for a connection while keeping a little separation.

03 / KEEP IT TOGETHER

More context.
Less crossing wires.

An inbox for the conversations that belong here. A familiar place to read, reply and pick up where you left off.

These are the everyday uses we’re building toward. The current pilot is limited to invited participants and approved SMS contacts.

FAMILIAR, WITH A LITTLE MORE YOU

A conversation.
In the right place.

One clear inbox. A separate number. The details you need, without getting in your way.

Try a conversation above. This preview uses fictional messages.

Hey Alex, have you had a chance to look at the new designs?

Just did. The second direction feels right. ✨

Example conversation

Love it. Let’s pick it up tomorrow.

Your personal number stays separate.

THE LITTLE THINGS, CONSIDERED

Simple on the surface.
Thoughtful underneath.

A two-way conversation

Text from your OMGText number and read replies in the same thread. Your contacts use their usual SMS app.

Clear message states

See when a message is waiting, sent or confirmed delivered. If a result is uncertain, the app tells you.

Boundaries built in

Block a conversation when you need to. Recipient opt-outs are respected before another message can be sent.

SMALL START. THOUGHTFUL NEXT STEPS.

Something good
is taking shape.

OMGText is in a private Android SMS pilot. We’re testing the essentials with invited participants before opening things up.

Inside the pilot

No public subscriptions or app-store release yet.

A FEW THINGS YOU MIGHT WONDER

Glad you asked.

A little clarity before

What is OMGText?

OMGText is a second-number app in development. It brings a separate US number and its SMS conversations into one space on your phone. Our current release is a small, invitation-only Android pilot.

Can I download it today?

There isn’t a public App Store or Google Play release yet. Invited Android testers receive installation instructions directly from the person running their pilot. Read about the pilot.

Will my contacts need OMGText too?

No. In the cellular SMS pilot, approved contacts send and receive messages through their normal SMS app. You use OMGText over an internet connection. Carrier and data charges may apply.

Does it support calls or verification codes?

Voice calling is not part of this pilot. Verification-code delivery depends on the sending service and isn’t guaranteed. OMGText is not intended to bypass a service’s identity or fraud checks, and it does not support emergency calling.

What does the private pilot include?

An invited account, one existing US number, and SMS with up to five approved contacts during a limited test window. Keep OMGText open to receive message updates; background notifications are not included yet.

How much will OMGText cost?

Public plans and pricing haven’t been announced. There is no checkout or subscription purchase on this website. Any invited pilot has its scope and provider costs agreed with the person running it before sending begins.

Are my messages end-to-end encrypted?

SMS is not end-to-end encrypted. OMGText separates your number and conversations, but messages pass through our backend and telecom provider to reach the recipient. See our website and pilot privacy overview.
